Product Photography
The world is turning digital, and online shopping is becoming more popular Companies need good product photos to advertise their product online, and also still have them printed out. In this project I am focusing on Product Photography for Justine’s tissue oil range. This will teach me how to work with different photography tools, equipment and will teach me creative art direction.
Concept
I have chosen to do a photoshoot of Justine's Tissue Oil range. I want to highlight the oil's beautiful, and vibrant colours. The idea is to use a white background, with very little added props. The only props that will be used are natural elements such as water, almonds, lavender and eucalyptus. I am also going to use a bit of fabric to photograph one of the products.

Rationale

This project has taught me a lot about photography. From choosing the product to taking the final shot. Starting out I wanted to choose a product that was easy to get, and I decided on Justine’s Tissue Oil range because we had it available, it is visually pleasing to look at, and was a lot of fun to work with. I learnt how to use Reflector Boards, Different lighting methods, I learned how to use Pro Mode on my phone camera.

I decided to keep to a clean minimalistic look, this was to match with Justine’s brand and aesthetic, I have included some inspiration pictures in the beginning to justify my choice in the styling. In the video, I also tried to incorporate the look and feel of the company, while bringing some personality into the products themselves. I have learnt how to look at products in a more creative way and how to use the appropriate editing, lighting, props, and concepts to create these images.

Overall, I found the decision making process easy when I decided on my product, I made a few minor adjustments to my initial planning and Ideas but other than that I think it was a successful photoshoot.

Thank you for Viewing my Project!
